So. Where do we start then?

Looked like we were bang up for that. We bagged one and it felt like another was on its way. And then the life and arse fell out the defence. Casual Virgil was, well, casual. And then Robbo and Alisson just decided to fuck about for a bit and then that cost us.

Drinks breaks need to get in the bin. It kills us. You know what else kills us? Out of form players. And the mistakes obviously. My thinking is Klopp isn’t as emotionally attached to the points record as we are, he’s got to get some of these lads ready and firing for next season. Just at this moment, it’s back-firing.

Remember, these ratings are just opinion. They in no way have any effect on your life. Don’t get angry. Just let me know yours in the comments below.

Alisson – 5

Like most games he had fuck all to do. But then sold Robbo short which led to a goal. He’s beautiful. He’s glorious. But he’s not immune to criticism. BUT what I will say he found himself in a sticky patch with the Arsenal press and he was sound.

Trent – 6.5

Played some of those long diagonal balls which are just a joy to watch every single time but also found himself out of position and in danger. Bit lucky to only get a yellow, don’t think it was malicious like. Got forward much more in the second half but by that point Arsenal had 10 at the back.

van Dijk  – 6.5

A mistake from van Dijk, almost a little too calm on this occasion. To be fair he was tugged off. But also to be fair, I think we’d all tug him off for what he has done for this club. Made a mistake. Arsenal did a goal. I won’t be telling him off.

Gomez – 7.5

Calm as you like, it’s er, Joe Gomez? And on more than one occasion too. Defence was a shambles at times tonight and we were lucky Arsenal didn’t make more of it. Joe Gomez played a big part in that for me.

Robbo – 7

Boss for large periods in the first half; a big, brave header which led to the goal but then also a strange throw to Alisson. Didn’t let it dampen his spirits though, wanted to fight the cause and link up with Mane was sensational as always.

Fabinho – 6

Mixed bag for Fabinho. Moments of brilliance but then moments where he just looked out of sorts. Sloppy passing, poor decision making. Not his best.

Gini – 5.5

First twenty like most, he was sound. After that not so great. Heads dropped and passing was sloppy, not just Gini. Everyone. Did play a role on the Liverpool goal but can’t think of much besides that.

Ox – 5

Could be lower in all honesty. Disappointing from Ox again today. Lets have it straight, he’s not shite. Far from it. He’s in poor form and looks shot of confidence.

Salah – 6.5

Caused issues but just not clinical enough today. Found himself with several chances and could have had a goal if he opted to use his right foot. Game passed him by at times.

Bobby – 7

A no look karate kick early doors which hit the posts. His link up and movement was integral in the goal putting Liverpool in front. Briefly. Popped up in dangerous spaces in the second half but wasn’t able to have any influence on the game.

Mane – 8

The outlet for most of the game, the real threat and danger to Arsenal. Had a right old ding-dong with Holding until he moved into the middle. Well taken goal and well deserved. Showed the fight some players lacked tonight.

Subs

Taki Lad – 7

Brought energy, pace and a work rate needed to try and turn that game around. Got stuck in, didn’t shy away from anything and all he needed was a bit more time on the pitch.

NABY LAD – 8

Possibly the best player for Liverpool along with Gomez tonight. Real impetuous, drive and creativity which we lacked after the first goal. Brought others into the game and took on most of the Arsenal side himself.

Origi – N/A

Copy and paste from most weeks. Feel for the lad with lack of game time but he needs to show what he can do and bring something to this side.

Shaqiri – HE’S FUCKING ALIVE

Nice hair. Just good to see him alive.
