Liverpool have again been linked with an outstanding player in Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio. There was reports back in January that Liverpool had a bid of £131m rejected by Los Blancos but no official confirmation was made.Asensio has made 20 league appearances this season but majority of those have been off the bench. The Spanish youngster has said he has had five offers from clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus and Bayern Munich but Spanish newspaper Diario Gol are reporting that the 22- year-old has come out and said his priority is to continue at Real Madrid and succeed at the Bernabeu even though he is unhappy under manager Zinedine Zidane. His current contract runs until 2023 and club president Florentino Perez has said he has no intention of letting the player go. Reports coming out of Spain today is that Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas is wanting to leave the club. Spanish newspaper Diario Gol say that Liverpool are determined to get Navas and that a £20 million offer is being lined up for the goalkeeper.Navas has said in the past that he would not leave Madrid unless it was to go to another big club where he can maintain/improve his record.Fiorentino Perez has said that he is willing to listen to offers for the Costa Rican but thinks he is worth more than the £20 million that is being prepared and will make a counter offer should a bid be made. Another player who has been on Liverpool’s radar is Mohamed Bahlouli, the youngster is making rapid progress in the youth team at Lyon. French website France Football are reporting that Liverpool representatives had originally flown out to monitor another player by the name of Houssem Aouar but Bahlouli caught their eye and has since been linked with a move to Merseyside. The young midfielder started the season in the U19’s but outclassed the rest of the team and was moved up to the first team and has been on many European club’s radars. With 38 goals in his last 42 Youth outings for Lyon, Bahlouli has said he wants to be ???the next Couthinho’. When asked recently if he wanted to be the next Messi, the youngster replied with “Messi is impossible to imitate, the one player I look at is Phillipe Coutinho. I always watch videos of him on YouTube and he has everything a modern attacking midfielder needs”.Article By Lauren Black@LaurenBlack9For more Redmen TV content including podcasts, subscriber exclusives and three new shows every week subscribe now and get your first month for FREE bit.ly/RMTVjoin
