An away trip to Brentford is up next for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s side continue on what has been a fast start to the season.
There are plenty of positives to take from the previous game against Norwich City, with Takumi Minamino’s brace hopefully a catalyst for the Japan star. Divock Origi is also looking much better with the return of the fans; much like Sadio Mane, it seems like Origi thrives with a crowd.

Here’s how we should line up:
Alisson returns in goal behind what has been our best back four so far this season. Konate and Gomez looked a class above in midweek, making defending look easy for most of the game, but no one has done enough to dislodge either Virgil or Matip from the league partnership.
Fabinho starts from the six with Henderson and Curtis Jones ahead. It’s more fitness misery for the Reds as Thiago and Keita were confirmed out of this one on Thursday. The Reds may be forced to change shape if bad luck with injuries continues.
Diogo Jota starts upfront with Brentford likely to make things compact and difficult for the Reds to breakdown. Salah and Mane come back into the side after a midweek rest.
Thomas Frank’s side are certainly not to be underestimated; they beat Arsenal fairly comfortably and have conceded one of the fewest xG (expected goals) so far. Liverpool will have to be firing on all cylinders to see this one through with ease, but the current form of our front three should be enough to secure all three points on Saturday evening.
Score prediction: Brentford 0 – 3 Liverpool
