Another 3 points?! GO ON THEN!! Bit barmy that first half display wasn’t it! Bit like Liverpool of old. “You score two, we’ll score more” thought we were past that. Kudos to the lads at Redmen TV Academy they’ve been raving about that Lampety for weeks and he caused us a few issues. Other than that we were much easier on the eye tonight. Lots of attacking play, some wonderful goals and it could have been more! Hendo with a goal I didn’t think he had in his locker. Salah with another two goals to his name as he chases that golden boot. Neco Williams with a decent first half display, wasn’t perfect and was never going to be. Youth need a chance and you can’t complain when they aren’t the same as the first teamers. Remember, these ratings are just opinion. They in no way have any effect on your life. Don’t get angry. Just let me know yours in the comments below.  Alisson – 7.5 Busier than he would have liked and will be gutted to have conceded a goal. I’m going to ignore him missing the ball from a cross. A blip in the Matrix. Otherwise dominant and positive in his mission to get another assist this season! Trent – 7 All over the place first half as were the whole team in parts, left Gomez exposed at times too. Still creative, still brought Mo into the action. Will always have an influence on this side – completed 51 out of 65 passed. Most of which were those beautiful long balls we all crave to see. You know the ones. van Dijk  – 9 Birthday boy calm as you fucking like. Why would you expect anything else? You see that headed keepy up-tackle he did? Just not arsed is he? It’s as if strikers are a major inconvenience for the lad he has to think of new ways to entertain himself. Gomez – 7 Bit up and down really. Some great last ditch play but also so desperate last ditch clothes line action. Pace often gets him out of trouble but ended up with a yellow too. Williams – 7 Boss to see the Welsh Roberto Carlos get his first Premier League start. Bit of a mixed bag for him, great going forwards but had a tough game v Lampety who was also decent tbf. Picked up a yellow which is why he came off. AND he was out of position. He’ll have learned a fucking lot from tonight. Hendo – 8 Where did that finish come from?! Bend it like Jordan Brian Henderson! Struck a second half volley pretty well too! Midfield overrun again today, more so in the first half, improved much more in the second. Went off injured with 10mins left. Got a Klopp cuddle. That fixes everything.

Keita – 10 Gave him a 10 at HT to be honest. The first goal comes from him, as did most of our play. HE WAS FUCKING EVERY WHERE! Consistent pressing, lovely movement, work rate unreal and some neat intricate play mixed with some piss-taking. Well in NABY LAD. Gini – 6.5 Sound. Nothing too flash but that is his game. Does the dirty work, doesn’t get the plaudits. Again not the best first half but his confidence grew in the second Salah – 10 Superb from Mo tonight. A goal and an assist and he could have had more. Dangerous runs in behind the Brighton defence on both the left and the right. Hungry for that golden boot and it showed! Beautiful header for his second, even better when you think Brighton defenders are all 31ft tall. 19 goals this season! Bobby – 8 I bloody love Bobby you know. Selfless, sexy, piss-taking baller. Leaves it Mo to get on the scoresheet, presses like the ball like it’s the first born child, drags defenders out of position and just an overall pain in the arse for defenders. BOBBY IS THE SYSTEM. Ox – 6.5 I have sympathy for Ox, not played week in, week out, hardly in the same position and he had a young Neco Williams behind him. Much better second half but still not the standard we come to expect from him.

Subs Robbo – 7.5 An influence in the second half and an outlet we were crying out for earlier in the game. Relentless Robbo. Added another notch his assist bed post assist thing. Assist tally. That. Fabinho – 7 Sits in the bench for an hour, comes on and sprays a 50 yard pass. And then got a very deserved yellow card. Lovely shithousery. Mané – 7.5 A man possessed. Full of drive, determination that willingness to just fucking win, no matter what it takes. Could have easily bagged himself a goal tonight too.
