Lovely that. For the final ten minutes. Bit erratic for large parts. Burnley caused us a few problems, particularly down that left channel and with balls over the top. Rhys Williams had a mixed game and those mistakes will stick out like a sore thumb and cause concern for many. What I will say is you would be correct to be worried but it’s also important to remember he’s just a kid. After it calmed down a bit the goals changed the game and to be honest, my mind set. Yes we rode our luck on many occasions and we have Nat Phillips to thank for his actions at both ends of the pitch. The most important thing was a win. 3 huge points. A step closer to Champions League football. It’s in our hands. Just fucking win on Sunday. Please. A clean sheet and three goals was a huge bonus. Remember these are just opinions. Don’t worry about it. Make your own minds up. My thoughts don’t mean anything.Alisson – 8Bit gutted he didn’t score to be honest. He’s out of form now. In all seriousness, he was commanding in the box. One or two moments where it was touch and go but as mentioned, a clean sheet is huge. He made some big saves in there too. Well in Ali. Trent – 9Excellent again tonight. Shame he can’t defend though. Only won 4/4 ground duels tonight. Along with 4 interceptions, 4 clearances. Wasn’t dribbled past either. And he’s just a defender. Oh with 2 key passes, 3/5 long balls and 93% pass accuracy. Not worth taking the Euro’s though, eh Gareth?Phillips – 10 Pick a moment. Pick any moment in that game and there’s a good chance Big Nat was involved. A wonderful header to ease the pressure on the game along with the usual headed clearances, body on the line, good running in behind, good recovery tackles and a fucking goal!!Rhys Williams – 7Mixed one for him tonight. Caught in behind several times, lack of communication, poor judgement and one moment where he just gave the ball away. However, what I will say and repeat is, he’s just a kid. Lower your expectations. There aren’t many 19 year old starting CB’s in the league. Never mind ones that are chasing Champions League football.Robertson – 10INCREDIBLEFabinho – 8I don’t think that was his best performance. Well it was certainly quiet. I’m not sure that was due to Burnley just bypassing him to be honest by twatting the ball as high as they could over him so that they could get in behind. It was just erratic and I think he found it difficult to influence large parts of the game like he usually can.Andrew Robertson vs. Burnley

Thiago – 9You see that fucking little flick he did in the first half. Had no right to get that ball, win it and then do the fella. Naughty, naughty boy. Really feel sorry for those that don’t get to see him each and every week. He just oozes class and experience. And flair. The complete package.Gini – 7Always struggle with Gini. I’m not sure if it’s him or his role. I don’t know if he’s meant to influence the game, which I know sounds stupid. Is he supposed to play it safe? Recycle the possession and let the other lads crack on while protecting the lads at the back? Probably. Is it fun to watch? Not really. He has a job to do and he does it.Mané – 7.5Missed a great chance early doors but then he did really well to pick out Bobby with a backheel in which he should really have an assist for and then he eventually got one by sticking on Big Nats head. He’s still clearly not at his best. Get Palace out the way and then give the man a well deserved rest.Salah – 7Fucking hates these games against the low block doesn’t he. Ben Mee had him on toast several times in the first half and then it’s just a case of having a sea of bodies in front of him, being marked by two lads and not having the ability to run at people where he’s at his best. Ah well, just do the business on Sunday Mo. TaBobby – 8Important goal at an important time tonight from Bobby. I don’t know if the goal or the crowd gave him confidence tonight but he was like Bobby of old. The Greatest Showman. He’s learnt how to play against the likes of Burnley, drop ten yards and get involved. His link up play is exceptional
Ox – 8Came on scored a goal and helped us all relax. Really happy for him! Milner – N/APlayed about five mins.Tsimikas – N/ANever even noticed he came on.Ross – @rossic89
