Jamie Carragher has had a cheeky dig at the expense of John Terry and Chelsea FC. Carra played in the Liverpool game against Sydney earlier today and its fair to say he did better than he thought!

He wrote on Twitter ” I was waiting to come off on the 23rd minute.” In reference to the end of season and career embarrassment in which JT ended his Chelsea career was hardly sophisticated and respectful. Mind you, some would argue he isn’t either. It almost became a laughing stock over the weekend. I understand the sentiment behind it, but surely it would have been more respectful to play 60/70 minutes then to come off. He was playing a David Moyes Sunderland team not the Monstars from Space Jam.
Carragher continued “Clean sheet, passing exemplary, set piece fine only just off a 24 hour flight 8 hours ago!” Again Carra reiterates what he has gone through having been retired for several years and still has the ability to play more than 23 minutes in front of 75,000 non plastic fans.
