All felt a bit anticlimactic that didn’t it? Or was that just me? Not a great watch and nor do I expect these lads to hit the ground running after three months away.Credit to Everton like, defended in numbers and shut out a large amount of attacks in the final third and then tried to hit us on the counter. You could argue we should have been more aggressive in our build up play and taken a few more risks but you can’t have it all right now given the circumstances.Remember, these ratings are just opinion. They in no way have any effect on your life. Don’t get angry. Just let me know yours in the comments below. Alisson – 8Big sexy bastard. The difference in so many games. The difference in our success. Literally had fuck all do all game, could have set up a tent, pack of Stella and put his feet up. A number of big saves within the last ten minutes of the game to keep it 0-0. Showed his elite mentality and concentration once again.Trent – 6Just not at the races in terms of his passing. But his standard was and IS so high. We are so used to everything he touches turning to gold, he just needs to get a run of games and we will see him back to his best. Need to find his shooting range too. Just a matter of time.Matip – 6Boss to see him back and his ability to bypass a midfield with his passing. Didn’t see that much of it nor did we see one of those adventure runs. Very much felt like neither side wanted to make a mistake or take any risks.van Dijk – 7Dead shit him isn’t he? Richarlison ran rings around him all day. His comments were fully justified.ORHe’s talking absolute shite and he is in fact the best defender in the world. Current World and European Champion and about to win the league.Fuck off lad.Milner – 6Everton went for it down that flank and Jimmy Milner was having absolutely none of it. Never shy of getting stuck in or playing out of position, he just cracked on. Put Richarlison on his arse, got booked and got off. Hope he’s alright like.Fabinho – 7No idea how he wasn’t booked early and it’s probably a good job. Continued to put himself about, put out fires, more so in the first half and he seems to have found his range of passing and confidence again.

NABY LAD – 7Bright, sharp, energetic and full of confidence. Great link up play as well as coming deep to get involved in the game. A great platform for him to kick on. And in all honesty, I’d have like to see him stay on a bit longer. Another game on Wednesday night and Gini getting minutes under his belt too.Hendo – 6Full of beans as you would expect. But just not firing on all cylinders as were most of the other lads weren’t. I’ll beat the same drum as before, it’s about getting back into the swing of things, the title is still looming. Nothing to worry about.Minamino – 6Good to see him get some game time in a stronger side. Zipped about caused a few issues but in fairness Everton got back in numbers which made in difficult. Bigger picture stuff for Taki. Starting a Premier League will do his confidence wonders.Bobby – 6Probably one of the most difficult jobs with Everton defending in Stanley Park. Maybe trying to get a glimpse of the spade in the ground at their new stadium. Not much room to work in and as with the rest of the lads it’s about gaining rhythm and fitness.Mane – 7Not 100% but at least he got me on the edge of my seat from time to time. Best of the attacking players but still not much to write home about.
SubsGomez – 6Shoe-horned in at left back after Jimmy Milner went off and a physical game to get stuck into. Didn’t do anything wrong nor did he set the world alight. Threw himself and Davies shot to get a slight deflection to turn it onto the post.Ox – 6The break will have done him well and enabled him to get back to full fitness and extra time for his leg to recover. Made a superb run into the second half using close control and quick feet which led to a free kick on the edge of the box.Gini – 5Will be aggrieved not to be starting that game but minutes under his belt and Crystal Palace on the horizon could see him start in midweek.Divock – 5Like most of the subs he didn’t have much of an effect on the game but had to put up with a blockade of Everton players.Lovren – 5I think Jamie Carragher’s comments said it all. Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison are a handful and his decision making almost cost us.Ross – @rossic89
