After Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson were both sent home early from international duty with injuries, Liverpool fans across the globe will have been watching tonight’s action across Europe hoping that no other players suffered an injury.

However, those fans did not get their wish as Andy Robertson limped out of Scotland’s World Cup qualifier against Denmark.

The Scottish captain was taken off in the 79th minute of Scotland’s 2-0 win over the Danes with what looked to be a hamstring injury.

The injury bug is certainly biting Liverpool during these last few weeks. Their list of absent players was already pretty long before the international break and it’s gotten even longer over the last week or so.

With less than a week to go before The Reds face Arsenal at home in the Premier League, it looks like Robertson will be a major doubt for that particular game, which is a huge blow to Liverpool.

Kostas Tsimikas has been in good form over the last few weeks but with games coming thick and fast, Jurgen Klopp will have wanted the opportunity to rotate his left-backs, but it now appears very unlikely that he’ll have the chance to do just that.
