By Lewis ThompsonTwitter @LewisThomps0nLiverpool travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham on Sunday as they look to go back on top of the Premier League and keep the pressure on Manchester City in their pursuit of the title. After qualifying for the quarter finals of the Champions League Klopp’s men will be filled with confidence and will definitely know what they have to do in order to get the three points tomorrow.Liverpool have won all of their last five games against Fulham in the Premier League. Across the five games The Reds managed to score a total of 16 goals as well as keeping three clean sheets against The Cottagers. The last time Fulham managed to pull off a victory against The Reds was all the way back on the 1st of May 2012, when they won 1-0 at Anfield. Fulham have played a total of 13 Premier League home games against Liverpool and none of these meetings finished as a draw, with Fulham winning five and losing eight. After the recent sacking of manager Claudio Ranieri, The Cottagers appointed former player Scott Parker as temporary caretaker manager. The English man is yet to win a game as manager of Fulham after two straight defeats to Chelsea and Leicester City. Before the sacking of Premier League winner Ranieri, Fulham had only won one of their last nine games losing seven in the league and also losing in the FA Cup to Oldham Athletic.

Scott Parker has got no new injuries to worry about, however, The Cottagers will still be without goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, defender Alfie Mawson and winger Andre Schurrle.Scott Parker has made comments about the challenge of playing Liverpool in the league saying this, “It’s going to be a massive challenge. Liverpool is a team that is fighting at the right end, in terms of fighting for the championship”.Now onto my predicted line-up for the game. I think Parker will keep the same 4-3-3 team that played against Leicester and Chelsea. With Fulham being 13 points away from safety in the Premier League Parker will need to play his full-strength team in every game until the end of the season. This means Sergio Rico will start in between the sticks, with a four-man backline consisting of Odoi at right back, Nordveit and Ream at the centre of the defence and Bryan out at left back. A three-man midfield will involve Chambers, Cairney and McDonald and the dangerous front three will consist of Babel, Mitrovic and Sessegnon. Mitrovic looks to be the danger man that Liverpool need to be concerned about as the Serbian as banged in a total of ten goals and gathered two assists this season. This is another massive game for The Reds in their pursuit of the Premier League title it is a must win game and hopefully if we manage to get the three points City will feel a bit of pressure in their next game. I’m going to go with a 3-0 win to Liverpool with Mane scoring two and Robertson getting himself a goal. Tell me what you think the score will be and also tell me what you think of Liverpool’s chances in the Champions League after being drawn against FC Porto in the quarter finals.
