Liverpool leaves Belgium with three points after beating Genk by 4 goals to 1.

Class From Ox

I was really hoping that he would start the game tonight after his cameo against Man Utd at the weekend so I was really excited to see him starting in midfield and what a good decision it was because he was fantastic tonight. Both of his goals where wonderful but that second one is something special, I don’t even think he meant it either which makes it even better!

I’ve been waiting for a midfielder that will have a shot from outside the box and I mentioned it in my article on Sunday that I loved that he did that when he came on and you can see the benefits that it has tonight because he walks away with two goals.

Buzzing for Ox himself because he deserves moments like this after what he has been through and to come back and try and get a place in this team is hard to do but if he puts on displays like tonight then Klopp has no choice but to pick him each week.

Fab Midfield

I think we can all agree that we got very excited when we saw the team announcement tonight and it was a midfield three of Fabinho, Keita, and Ox. That midfield just oozes creativity and we saw that in tonight’s game, Fabinho is there with his go-go gadgets legs to win the ball back and then be able to give the ball to Keita or Ox to work their magic whether it is them scoring themselves or creating opportunities for the other players on the field.

Front Three

It was great to see Salah back in the starting eleven tonight, I was surprised that he got given the full 90 minutes tonight considering the injury but then again if he was rested against Man Utd then his legs should be alright. And of course, he couldn’t let Oxlade-Chamberlain get goal of the season!

Sadio Mane is boss.

Bobby Firmino is boss.

Say no more.

Tottenham Next

Spurs up next on Sunday afternoon. Happy that we are back at home and that we have the opportunity to get three more points on the board after the draw away at Utd. Would you play the same midfield or would you look to bring in Henderson or Wijnaldum into the starting eleven?
