Although we come away with three points I can’t help but feel like we should have got beat.

Salah is back in the goals but not back at his best

Mo may have got us the three points today but his performance wasn’t the best, along with many other players.

To be fair to Salah, we can’t keep criticising his performances over silly things. We should be thankful that he is grabbing the goals for us when we most need them.

Hopefully he will continue to push forward and grab some more goals for us over the next coming weeks.

Is James Milner human?

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Milner got through 77 minutes of football when just two weeks ago he was expired to miss this months games.

He is our most valuable player in my opinion, you can’t replace him and I’m sure Klopp wants him to play every game for 90 minutes and rightly so as he is constantly improving us as a team and he is improving as individual even at 32 years old.

Hard times for Huddersfield

They are yet to score a goal at home this season and that is quite shocking to be honest.

They had plenty of chances today and could have had 2/3 clear goals to add but it doesn’t seem to click for them and although David Wagner is doing a very good job, you do have to question what is going wrong for them right now.

Fabinho cameo was promising

I was really impressed with the Brazilian when he replaced Lallana today. Thought he offered us a little extra in defence which is always needed but he can also carry the ball and get himself in some good positions.

Feel like he can be a really solid midfielder for us and it’s just about having the patience and playing the waiting game for his chance. Klopp clearly likes him and thinks he can fill a hole for us in midfield and I have no doubt that he will be key for us in the future.

Looking ahead to Red star

There is definitely some positive to take from today’s game as we head into another Champions League game. We should be able to batter Red Star on Wednesday considering the players we have but it will be interesting to see what team he puts out.

I’m hoping that Trent gets back in at RB and Gomez shifts back in to CB as that’s where he is at his best. I’m also expecting Fabinho to start instead of Henderson depending on what the situation is with his injury.

Let me know your thoughts on the game and your score prediction for Wednesday night.
