Dan Clubbe headed down to Anfield for the launch of the incredible LFC Memories app with House of Memories in collaboration with the LFC Foundation, Forever Reds and Red Archive.
House of Memories is a museum-led dementia awareness programme that offers training, access to resources, and museum-based activities to enable carers to provide person-centred care for people living with dementia.
The new easy-to-use My House of Memories app explores objects from the past and shares memories together. It can be used by anyone but has been designed specifically for, and with, people living with dementia and their carers.
My House of Memories app
The brand new My House of Memories Liverpool app now has a ‘My Memories’ feature, which enables users to upload their own photos to share precious personal memories with the people they care for living with dementia and look back on fond times from the history of The Reds.
Whilst there, Dan spoke to House of Memories Director Carol Rodgers, Head of Partnerships at the Foundation Katie Ellis Carrigg as well as Liverpool legends John Barnes, Phil Thompson and Becky Easton about their involvement in the initiative and a little about The Reds.
