Starting XI: How should Liverpool line up against Brighton Hove Albion?

@AdamMNVi

Momentum is building as the Reds continue on their quest for the title. No team has created better xG than Liverpool this season as Mo Salah continues to give the Ballon d’Or committee something extra to think about.

Brighton are up next after the 5-0 demolition of Manchester United at Old Trafford. Of course, we had to get that in there!

Despite struggling against Manchester City last week, the Seagulls are normally a difficult side to come up against. The clash at Anfield last season was one to forget, but Liverpool are in much better form this time around.

Here’s how we should line up:

Alisson starts in goal behind an unchanged back four from the last league game. Ibrahima Konate is already becoming a legend after his handling of almost the entire United squad in the scuffle last Sunday.

Thiago is back in training but won’t be ready for tomorrow, and Klopp will also be without Fabinho. Though it’s better news for Naby Keita – who has made a miraculous recovery since being stretchered off at Old Trafford. He is available for selection and should start alongside Henderson. While Oxlade-Chamberlain had some bright moments against Preston, Curtis Jones is slightly edging the battle at the moment for the final spot.

A deep Brighton line calls for the return of Diogo Jota to lead the line. Once the game opens up, Roberto Firmino can then be introduced to finish it off. Salah and Mane return to the side after a rest in midweek.

Uncertainty over Bissouma and Liverpool’s current form provides enough confidence that we can go into this one and take all three points, and the Anfield crowd is an extra bonus with the Reds currently firing on all cylinders.

Score prediction: Liverpool 3 – 0 Brighton
