Remember these are just opinions. Don’t worry about it. Make your own minds up. My thoughts don’t mean anything.
Alisson – 8
The calmest goalie in the land, his distribution was key to breaking the Leeds press time and time again and made his usual slew of strong saves.
Trent – 9
Another assist for one of the best playmakers in the world. Did a fantastic job defensively as well and is continuing his electric start to the season. Southgate, just play him at RB mate.
VVD – 8
Standard Virg dictating at the back and dominating the craziness of the Leeds attack. Excellent aerial presence and passing range again.
Matip – 9
One of those mazy runs was going to bear fruit eventually, beautiful run and contribution to the build up. Standard domination in the back line.
Robbo – 7
More conservative from Robbo today but that was to the benefit of the team. Did his defensive work with comfort.
Fabinho – 10
The lighthouse of our midfield. Was always calm and composed in there with incredible defensive and passing contribution in a swirl of Leeds and Bielsa chaos. Got a nice goal for his troubles too.
Thiago – 9
Elite control from this lad, he finds space everywhere and passes with such precision on a constant basis. Lovely little assist to add to that.
Elliott – 8
Oh man that injury is hard to swallow, he was fantastic again with his directness bravery and beautiful technique. Recover soon Harvey, we’ll be here when you come back.

Mane – 5/8
The cynic will say that he missed loads of chances and should get criticised for it, the optimist will say that he was always getting into the right positions and finally got the goal his game deserved. So I’ve put 2 ratings for both of those types of people.
Salah – 9
How many different ways can you praise a footballer? Well I count 100 considering he’s now hit that number of premier league goals. Passing exceptional, movement exceptional and control exceptional.
Jota – 7
Quieter performance from him today, was always causing issues with good positioning and passing. We’ll see better from him throughout the year.
Hendo – 8
Played some beautiful passes after coming on and controlled the midfield as our captain does.
Ox – N/A
He’ll need to adapt to that striker role if he plays it more throughout the season. Just run a bit more lad, it’ll go a long way.
Keita – N/A
Small cameo so nothing to really say, I look forward to see if he can improve throughout this season.
