Well first off. How the bloody hell was the only 1-0? A nice early goal and a flurry, sorry, army, of chances went Liverpool’s way. A goal ruled out for shits and giggles by the lads in a van and a Gini goal ruled out rightly for offside. Second half brought more of the same; chance after chance, after chance, after chance after chance. I could go on. The first time in a while I thought it might be ‘one of them’. Because it’s them. They were shite. They were there for the taking again. It should have been put to bed by half time. Just couldn’t have the PE teacher of a manager get the better of us again. Never fear, Salah is here. 2-0. Job done. What a weekend for the reds. Alisson – 8 HAHAHAHAHAHA he got a fucking assist! Go ed lad! Was annoyed with his distribution with his feet today, seemed a bit rushed by his usual standards, besides the assist for the goal, obviously. Throwing out is something else though. Trent – 8 Another game, another Trent assist. van Dijk was being marked by a ten year old like but you still have to apply quality in the delivery. Gomez – 8 Reduced United to nothing. Quick on the ball, positionally spot on and covered Trent on a few occasions when the balls went in behind. van Dijk – 10 MOTM for me. Hendo up there too. But he gets the goal and everything defensively he sorted. Why do teams bother when he is on the field? What is the point? Why do they bother crossing the ball into the box? He’s just going to clear it. Robbo – 7 Relentless Robbo again today. But some of his passing and decisions in the first half were completely below his high standards. Not a bad perfromance at all but just of of sorts for him I thought. Hendo – 10 Picked up the official MOTM and you cannot argue with it. Big fan of him just saying “Bullshit” repeatedly to the linesman, ref and anyone he gets in his way really. Imperative in the press, never let anything go and was composed going forward.

Gini – 9 Nutmegs left, right and centre, that big, beautiful Dutch arse shoving people out the way and to be fair to him it was a good finish for his goal. Just a shame it was a touch offside. Ox – 7.5 Impressive performance by Ox again today; drove at the United defence, linked up play between the back line and the front three and was a constant pest to the United midfield. Can feel hard done by to come off but positive going forward. Mane – 8 Could of and should of had a goal or an assist himself today. As mentioned United were there for the taking and Mane could have helped my nerves. He’s not thinking about me and nor should he. He knows what he is doing. Bobby – 8 Scored an absolute worldie only for it to be chalked off. Ruined ‘the best RB’ in the league and turned him into a pretzel in the second half. Could of and should have put the game to bed with other chances but wasn’t to be. Salah – 8 I mean for the goal alone. For giving my heart rate at rest, for putting the game to bed, for the finish, for being a lovely fella and just coz Carra called him a little dancer again. And because Luke Shaw piled into him like he was a buffet.
