Well. That was a lot easier than expected. Thought it was a potential banana skin but this Liverpool side were dominant start to finish. They do not take things for granted, they do not give up and they have restored their 13 point lead at the top of the table.Alisson – 7.5Hard to call really, could have been sat off with a few cans and a 20 deck of Malboro lights for all I care. He did however play a pivotal role in the build up to the second goal. Big saves in the first half too.Trent – 8Instrumental yet again, not entirely sure how or why he find himself in bags of space time and time again. Caused problems all game either on the overlap, switching the play or by playing world class balls into the box.Gomez – 10Flawless, absolutely flawless yet again. Dealt with everything thrown at him. Sheffield United tired with two other strikers and still nothing. His form of late has been imperious.
van Dijk – 9Love the fact he looks so pissed off when he has to make a slide tackle. Like he has just been inconvenienced. What else can you say about him, he’s fucking phenomenal.Robbo – 8Another game another assist – OK he got a bit lucky bit still in the right place and still had to pick Mo out. A tireless performance yet again and defensively solid.Hendo – 8.5Thought he might have been rested for this, he plays with such energy and has played loads of footy recently.
