Remember these are just opinions. Don’t worry about it. Make your own minds up. My thoughts don’t mean anything.
Alisson – 9
What an outrageous save in the 1st minute and that gave us the foundation we needed to win that game. Dominated the box and performed so well as a sweeper keeper again. He’s just so reliable.
Milner – 8
Last time he played Zaha he got sent off, now he pockets him as if he’s the most reliable RB in the world. Continues to get better with age.
VVD – 8
Ctrl C – Ctrl V. Another dominant performance from the Dutch CB as he always shows calmness alongside a more makeshift back line.
Konate – 7
As debuts go, this one was impressive. He showed his strength and composure in 1v1s and a really exciting passing range that’ll develop as we continue the season.
Tsimikas – 7
Ropey patches led to a few dodgy clearances which allowed Palace to build pressure. Grew into the game and was looking like the LB who suits this Liverpool side. Corner delivery was immense again with goals consistently coming from them.
Fabinho – 7
Controlled the midfield well again, he’s fantastic for sustaining constant pressure through wonderful positioning and tackling.
Thiago – 7
Hopefully he was taken off by precaution, he looked good again with his passing, touch and dribbling ability.
Henderson – 8
Excellent performance to match the milestone of his 200th game as Liverpool captain. He was everywhere today providing support to the attack on that right hand side as well as providing sufficient cover.
Mane – 8
100th goal for Mane at Liverpool and what a key goal it was. This Mane is the one we want to see more of; direct, dangerous and most importantly, clinical.
Salah – 8
Goal ✅, Quality Performance ✅, it’s boring using the same stock phrases over and over again to describe how boss this guy is.
Jota – 6
He really just should’ve scored that chance that was 2 yards out shouldn’t he? Well, we’ve still won the game and I’m sure he’ll
deliver in a future fixture.
Keita – 8
You can only be excited when he scores worldies like that one. I really don’t want to get sucked in but I think I have to.
Jones – N/A
The game was dead when he came on so there wasn’t too much for him to do, can’t wait to watch him against Norwich.
Origi – N/A
What a superb clearance from Div in the 91st minute to secure the clean sheet. Seems like he’s taking his moments with both hands.
