Welcome to today’s Liverpool FC news and transfer latest live blog! We will keep you up to date with the latest gossip, rumours and of course any news which is just bullshit.   18:30 – Signing off on today’s live blog. Liverpool feature in their second pre-season game tonight against Tranmere, the first half team is Ward, Camacho, Phillips, Klavan, Robertson, Fabinho, Keita, Lallana, Kent, Ojo, Solanke The second half team is Karius, Clyne, Gomez, Chirivella, Moreno, Milner, Woodburn, Jones, Wilson, Origi, Sturridge It will be exciting to see both Fabinho and Keita in the midfield together and it’s our first chance to see Adam Lallana in action after recovering from illness that left him out of the Chester game. 17:00 – Harry Wilson signs new long term contract at LFC Harry Wilson has today committed his future to Liverpool by signing a new five year deal. Buzzing to see him commit to us and hopefully he get’s the opportunity for some regular game time this season even if it is just in the cup competitions. 16:40 – Gini Wijnaldum being targeted by former manager Gini is said to be the main target for former manager Philip Cocu. The Dutchman played under Cocu at PSV and was given the captain’s armband by him, now manager of Fenerbache it is said that he wants Wijnaldum to join him in Turkey. This report comes from Turkish news outlet A Spor. Wijnaldum was a crucial member of our midfield last season and it would be a shame to see him go, just because we have bought in Fabinho and Keita doesn’t mean we should get rid of any players as it means a better squad depth. Hopefully Gini isn’t tempted by a move to turkey and will stay with us. 15:40 – Today’s news show is now available! 13:20 – Harry Wilson set for loan move Winger Harry Wilson has been talked about a lot since joining back up with Liverpool for pre-season and it is looking likely that he is going to be signing a new contract. However, Paul Joyce has also said that although the winger will be getting a new deal he is more than likely going out on loan again this year. A lot of clubs are interested in snapping up the youngster who is in high demand at the minute but I can’t help but feel that he should be given a chance in a Red shirt this season. 13:10 – Liverpool Ladies sign goalkeeper Some more exciting news for the Liverpool Ladies team as they have signed goalkeeper Anke Preuss! The keeper joins from Sunderland ladies having also had spells at Hoffenheim, Frankfurt and Verona Calcio. The Ladies team have made some positive singings over the last couple of weeks having lost a lot of players at the end of last season and hopefully the new additions can help bolster the squad and get them back to winning ways. 11:00 – James Pearce confirms that Liverpool not interested in Dybala Looks like I spoke too soon ey. James Pearce has broken hearts again this morning by confirming that Liverpool are not interested in Paulo Dybala. Speaking in the The Liverpool Echo this morning he said “Liverpool have no intention of pursuing a deal for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala”. Hear that? That is the sound of thousands of Liverpool fans hearts breaking reading that news. It was always going to be a very long shot that we would get a player like him to join from Juventus but you can’t help but want to think that it is possible, especially with some of the players we have signed and the way things are going at the club at the minute. Guess we’ll just have to keep hoping that the Fekir deal is still in place. 10:20 – Marco Asensio agent breaks silence The agent of Spanish star Marco Asensio has spoken about his client regarding the rumoured transfers reports calciomercato and has said that his client will not be leaving the club. “He will not be leaving the club. He is improving a lot and I believe next season will be very important. He will stay at Madrid” Well looks like we are signing Dybala then. 10:15 – Paulo Dybala rumours continue The Juventus forward has been linked with Liverpool over the last week or so and now Spanish media outlet Futbol Mercardo have tweeted saying that the Reds are willing to pay 90 million for him. I find it hard to believe that the Spanish media know about Liverpool’s business before anyone else but I can’t help but still be fully invested in this transfer and regularly check twitter throughout the day… 10:10 – Former striker joins J-League side Former Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has followed fellow Spaniard Andres Iniesta and joined Japanese side Sagan Tosu. We wish Fernando all the best in his new adventure! 10:00 – Morning all and welcome to today’s news blog!
