15:32 – Personal terms agreed! Inject this into every orifice!! The deal is looking ever closer. However, one thing we have learnt this summer is that nothing is complete until the medical has passed. Lets hope his knees aren’t dodgy!Alisson set to fly in for medical after personal terms agreed #LFC https://t.co/iGgFIAHHiT

11:30 – End of Karius? We could have all predicted this but signing Alisson could in fact spell the end for Karius at Liverpool Football Club. Thats according to The Guardian. It was announced last week that Danny Ward would be given his chance at the number one spot, starting with Blackburn on Thursday night, but that could all change with the Alisson deal becoming ever more imminent. That could however leave Danny Ward as second choice, leaving Karius behind.I’d either loan him to make mistakes or worldies at another club and hopefully put his price up a little. Failing that, if theres someone willing to buy him, just get rid.11:21 – Here we go…..Forgive me for being a little bit excited but this guy seems to know his stuff. It as also been reported in The Guardian that the deal is edging closer…Liverpool agree fee with AS Roma for Alisson in region of £66m. Nothing to stop other clubs doing likewise, but Liverpool the first. Permission granted to speak to player.

10:49 – Still haven’t signed Alisson….Although reports from Italy on Twitter say that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs, hopefully its edging closer.10:08 – LFC to pay full price?Reports emerging from Italy suggest Liverpool are willing to pay the full asking price for Roma ‘keeper Alisson Becker.Read Liverpool ave cited Italian journalist Il Messaggero who claims the reds have gone all out to get their target. This would mean Roma would receive around ???70m upfront and a further ???8m in bonuses. We shall wait and see.9:44 – Origi for the Toon?Possibly, seems a rather tedious link to me but I could be wrong. A classic ‘striker needs game time’ married with ‘team needs striker’ rumour, one for the transfer window bingo. What probably doesn’t help, the rumour has only come from Twitter.#Alisson is getting closer to #Liverpool.#LFC have made new bid for €75M to find the agreement with Roma: the clubs are now are discussing about the details of the payments and the add ons to finalize the deal soon ???? #LFC #Liverpool #transfers

Nothing concrete really, you could argue the case for possibly one or two out of Ings, Sturridge and Origi leaving this summer. Again, let me know you thoughts on Origi in the comments below. My option for whats its worth is I’d keep Origi and sell Ings and Sturridge. I think we’d have enough depth with Firmino, Solanke, Brewster and Origi this season as they are all competing for one spec. Well three of them are competing for second choice but you get my point.9:31 – Let’s talk AlissonAnd why wouldn’t we after yesterdays emotional rollercoaster. Today if certainly going to be a day of refreshing Twitter and looking out for that Paul Joyce Tweet. The Echo have turned to Jim Beglin for some quotes this morning and Beglin believes that Alisson has one specific reason he should choose Liverpool over Chelsea “For purely football reasons, if Alisson is undecided on where to move, he ought to recall the atmosphere at Anfield in April and imagine it backing his team. That may sway it.”To be fair to Jim I think he may have a point, the lure of all the money and London can be an attractive prospect but money can’t buy hairs standing up on your neck, I know I’m being bias but I’m pretty sure repetitive chants on “Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea” won’t do that.Alisson also received a rapturous applause when Brazil played Croatia at Anfield prior to the World Cup. Plus we have Champions League football. How the tables have turned.Southampton interested in Danny Ings & Newcastle interested in Divock Origi. Both permanent deals.
