Hello and welcome to today’s LFC news and transfer latest where we will be keeping you up to date on the latest transfer gossip and bullshit across Tuesday the 26th of June. RedmenTV Daily News
Paul is here with the news that Liverpool have allowed Danny Ings to move away from the club in pursuit of first team football and that Marco Asensio has talked about a move to the Reds.
Leighanne Robe Liverpool Ladies have today completed the signing of defender Leighanne Robe from Millwall Lionesses.
Robe becomes new mangers Neil Redfern’s first signing of the summer after a number of players including Caroline Weir, Gemma Bonner and Alex Inglethorpe recently left the club.
Robe said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the club and I’m really looking forward to working alongside Neil. It is a massive opportunity to make the step up to WSL1 and I am really excited for the new season.
Mo Salah
Sit down for this one. You might just fall off your chair laughing, in fact ring an ambulance just incase. ESPN FC are suggesting that Mo Salah has seen his best days at LFC, I know, what a load of shite. We shouldn’t give them the satisfaction of giving them the click, but we couldn’t resist.
“But a closer look at Salah’s season, including its sad end, suggests that the best for him is no longer yet to come. His best has happened.”
As soon as I saw this I just thought about John Henry “What do you think they’re smoking over there at ESPN?”
Crack John, the answer is crack.
Danny Ings
The big news this afternoon is that Danny Ings is set to leave Liverpool FC this summer. The Guardianstate that Ings was offered a new contract by the club who were more than happy for him to stay. Ings however has gone in search for regular first team football after coming to a reasonable and mutual agreement with the club.
Ing’s struggle for regular football has been no secret, since joining from Burnley he has found himself behind the pecking order and has been hampered with injuries.
His work rate, effort and qualities mean that Danny won’t be short of offers this summer and it could mean a positive boost for the likes of Dom Solanke and Rihan Brewster.
All the best Danny.
Marco Asensio
Real madrid star Marco Asensio has responded to rumours linking him with Liverpool saying “Liverpool? When the World Cup is over we’ll talk about that sort of thing, for now I am focused on selection”. According to readliverpoolfc.com he has said he will hold talks with new manager Lopetegui when the new season begins in Spain.
Hakim Ziyech
The first name doing the rounds today is Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech. Since the Fekir deal went tits and up and we’ve been linked with pretty much every midfielder known to man. Except Charlie Adam. Nobody wants him.
Ziyech however is technically sound and could be seen as a potential fit for Jurgen Klopp’s team. The downside, as it is with most transfer stories , we aren’t the only ones being linked with him. Probably because he’s a top talent but also because you can’t have a transfer story without suggesting 12 team that MIGHT want him.
The Sportsman name a number of Spanish, German and English clubs that would suit Ziyech, I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Valued at £60m in some reports he could be seen as ‘The Coutinho Replacement’
Nabil Fekir
It’s not going away is it. You want it to, but it won’t. You shouldn’t be thinking about him, but you can’t help it. You want him.
101greatgoals citing from French Football Magazine report that Liverpool had in fact agreed a 5 year deal with Fekir and that somehow the deal still managed to fall through.
“The magazine reports that Liverpool did attempt to renegotiate a previously agreed ???65m deal with Lyon after Fékir’s medical the Frenchman did have a 5-year contract agreement with the Reds, but the deal still fell through.”
Oh here’s a bit more on Fekir…
getfootballnewsfrance report that Fekir’s entourage are hoping he will light up the World Cup and make Liverpool ‘Salivate’ again. Unless he get’s himself a bionic leg I can’t see it.
“The player still wants to leave and has put his agent, Bernès, “under great pressure” to make a move away from Lyon happen this summer, with Aulas recently confirming approaches from Real Madrid.”
As we have all gathered, Aulas it a bit of a tit. This could go on all summer.
Mo Salah
As we reported yesterday Mo Salah’s international career could be cut short due to a breakdown in relationship with the Egyptain FA and because of the meeting between him and controversial Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov last week.
Goal’s Neil Jones states that image rights have also been an issue for Salah, his representatives and the Egyptian FA. Mo Salah has a lucrative deal with Vodafone however, his face was plastered all over Egypt’s World Cup plane, sponsored by another telecommunication company WE.
“Salah believes he has been left exposed by the Egyptian FA, who posted pictures and video of his meeting with Kadyrov on their social media accounts. His stance is that he does not wish to involve himself in issues away from football. He also feels he has been used as political capital in Chechnya.”
The story rumbles on….
James Milner
Not really news, but still funny.
Ribena fiend and Happy-go-lucky man James Milner is seemingly unimpressed with the use of VAR after the controversy it caused in last nights game between Portugal and Iran.
The Twitter sensation asked his fellow followers for their thoughts and described it as an ‘Absolute shambles’ followed by an angry emoji.
Joking aside last nights events does raise questions about the use of VAR, but we are pretty sure James will have a nice cup of tea and let it all blow over.
James Mil-VAR.
Bye.
Nabil Fekir
Guess who’s back, back again. Nabil’s back, get Aulas to tell EVERYONE!
Aye, Billy big mouth is at it again. This time speaking to beIN sports
“I was with Jose Mourinho the other day. We had long discussions.“Personally, I am no longer in discussions with Liverpool. At the moment, we are waiting for France and Nabil to have a fantastic World Cup.”
The article fromSport Bible suggests that Aulas pulled the plug on the deal with Liverpool because things didn’t move quickly enough.
So instead he’s decided to bang on about it for the past three weeks. “It was expected at a certain point for him to go to Liverpool. I gave the green light. It did not happen because things were dragged out too long.”
OK, mate.
Isco
At the weekend Liverpool were apparently in for Marco Asensio, now we’ve moved on. Weird that.
Isco is the next target according to HITC. Speculation was fuelled after impressive performances from Isco during Spain’s World Cup campaign caught the eye of football fans around the world. Some Liverpool fans see him as an alternative to Nabil Fekir.
HITC also report that Isco is currently valued at £65m CIES Football Observatory,I can assure you that Real Madrid will value him a little bit more than that. Double in fact. With a cherry on top, add ons, interest and a bill for mis-sold PPI.
Keep dreaming.
