Get the Ketchup ready!‘Sky Sources’ have another case to examine. This time its Mignolet to Besiktas. Just going to throw the idea of a swap deal for Vida out there? No? Ok..@LFC looking for between £5m-£7m for Markovic, with Standard Liege and a number of English sides keeping tabs. Much more interest in Mignolet, for whom the club will only countenance a sale, not a loan.

Why Alisson was the answerIt’s the world we live in unfortunately but there are always debates about transfer fees from both supporters and rivals. There’s two sides to this for me. First of all its not my money, I don’t care. Secondly, I’d rather my club didn’t piss money up the wall and put us in the shite Hicks and Gillette left us in.Jurgen Klopp has explained why Liverpool made the move for Alisson and has defended the fee. Talking to ESPN Klopp said:???The clause for Oblak for example is ???100m (£90m), so nice. ???The goalkeeper market is different because it’s not each year that there is anybody available. We didn’t know exactly if Alisson is available or not, but from a specific moment we realised obviously he is available and that’s the moment when we decided we want to go for him’SKY SOURCES: @Besiktas make contact with @LFC over a deal to sign goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. #SSN pic.twitter.com/UTTqG5h5j2

Another Brazilian to join LFC?Quite possibly, according to Team Talk. Attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta could be seen as an alternative to Nabil Fekir with the report also stating that AC Milan are also interested in the player. With a fee of around £40m being mentioned, it is certainly cheaper than Nabil Fekir and would bolster our options further.Only Klopp and co truly know whats happening the with Fekir deal or if we are indeed looking for a replacement. The cash that was available for Fekir could have been spent on Alisson, we just don’t know.Would you like to see Fekir still or some sort of ‘Coutinho replacement’ before the window closes? Or are you happy with the current set of players going into next season?Bill Shanklys views on holliganism ???? pic.twitter.com/EBl15FRufo

Someone in for Markovic, anyone, please….Lazar Markovic may have found a way out of Anfield according to reports. I didn’t understand the article myself but the lovely people over at The Echo have kindly translated the story for us all.It appears that Greek side Olympiakos have fought off competition from Fernabahce and Galatasaray to secure the signature for the Liverpool winger/outcast. Despite scoring an absolute banger against former Premier League champions Blackburn, Markovic’s services are no longer required. There has been no reported fee at this point but I’m sure we’d all take a handful of Freddo’s for him at the moment. Why Clyne left the tour….He’s become a daddy! Two goals down ???? but @HibsOfficial mount a thrilling comeback against Asteras Tripolis on a dramatic night at Easter Road in the Europa League qualifying second round ???? pic.twitter.com/5zFNLcqtNA

Where will Gomez play?Liverpool defender Joe Gomez says he is unsure of where he will play his football next season, in the positional sense that it. He’s not leaving.Gomez has been deployed at both centre back and right back in recent times buy Jurgen Klopp, with fans preferring the 19 year old in a central position. However, Gomez believes the important thing for him is to retain fitness and gain minutes on the pitch.“I just think we’re just taking it each game at a time. It’s still preseason and we’ll just have to see how things progress as time goes on.“Either way, I’ve just got to enjoy the minutes I get and keep trying to progress.”#LFCU23s to take on @SpursOfficial at Anfield in the #PL2. ????⚽
