16:05 – Aston Villa interested in Ojo
According to The Guardian Aston Villa are reportedly going to get in contact with the Reds regarding Ojo about a loan move. Liverpool reportedly want 15 million for the winger but Steve Bruce is keen on a loan deal for the player.
I think it would be a good move for Ojo, you seen how much he excelled at Fulham last year and he will definitley get game time at Aston Villa this year.
15:30 – Celtic keen on Chirivella
Reports last week told us that Pedro Chirivella had turned down a move to Rosenborg after Liverpool accepted a bid for the midfielder because he wanted to stay in England or move to Spain. Well today reports from goal.com are suggesting that Celtic are interested in the Spaniard. Brendan Rodgers gave the youngster his first professional contract at the club so it’s no surprise he want to link up with him again.
Looks like Chirivella will have to settle for Scotland rather than England or Spain.

12:00 – Liverpool Women to play Leicester
Liverpool Women had their game vs Sheffield United postponed on Wednesday afternoon, they are now set to play Leicester City Women at Riverside Football ground at 7:45PM. For further details about the game use this link Women.liverpoolfc
11:40 – Galatasary interested in Grujic
Reports this morning are suggesting that Marko Grujic is set to reject Cardiff City and head to Turkey to play for Galatasary. The Turkish side are said to be interested in the midfielder and are going to approach Liverpool shortly.
He has been linked with Cardiff the whole of the transfer window but nothing ever materialised, it is better for him to go out on loan this season I think as he won’t be getting much play time and with still being a young player, he needs to get as much match experiences as possible.
11:15 – Shirt number saga
Yesterday Liverpool revealed their 2018/19 season headshots and a few fans noticed something missing from Loris Karius. The German currently holds the number one shirt at Anfield with new boy Alisson wearing the number 13 on his debut at the weekend. Karius was among a few other players who shared their snap on social media but fans noticed something was missing, a hashtag.
Throughout last season Karius often used the hashtag #LK1 on his photos, however this time he hasn’t which has prompted some Liverpool fans to think that there could be a change of number happening at Anfield?
Alisson also put this on Instagram at the weekend with #AB1 in the caption.
Who knows ey, at the end of the day it’s just a number and majority of the time players pick whatever number they want so I wouldn’t read too much in to it.
11:00 – Mignolet on the way to Italy?
With the signing of Alisson both Mignolet and Karius have gone down the pecking order. They have both been linked with moves away from the club too with interest from Turkey and Germany but the latest news from Sportwitness is that Napoli are keen on taking Simon Mignolet on loan for the upcoming season.
The Italian side have been rocked with injuries meaning they are short on keepers and Ancelotti is meant to be keen the Belgian who only returned to pre-season training yesterday having featured for Belgium in the World Cup in the summer.
What do we think? A good move for Mignolet or should we keep hold of him for next season?
10:41 – Slow news
Bit mad this. Two days of the window left and there isn’t really much to talk about. Joe Hart has fucked off to Burnley if that interests you.
Speaking of Goalkeeper’s, ours is a bit boss isn’t he. Just look at this pass.
Absolutely unreal distribution from Alisson, which leads to our first goal of the game. Great strike from Milly!

10:19 – More Fekir talk
No idea what’s going on with Fekir. To be honest, I’m at the point in which I don’t really care. I just want the window shut for closure. Either way I just want security. He’s a boss player but I’m sick of talking about the lad. The window closing early is a blessing, we can all concentrate on the footy.
Anyway, here’s the latest report from The Mirror which states Fekir still after a move. Fekir said: “As you can see, I’m in Lyon. I am very good here. But the transfer window is still long and everything goes very fast in football.”
It has also been rumoured that Chelsea and United could be in for late moves for Fekir, which I’d be fuming with but I think we can cross Chelsea off that list as he’s not interested in Europa League football.
10:04 – Salah on the road
Not really a news story this. But apparently Mo Salah struggled with the roads when he first came to England. Hope that has changed your day. It’s worth of an article too apparently, here’s what he had to say
‘In the first few week it was hard,’ Salah said.
‘I had couple of accidents when I did drive on the sidewalk, but then everything worked just fine.’
Definition of a slow news day if you ask me.
9:54 – Martin Keown tips Liverpool for title
Yeah, I know. Not sure if thats a good thing or a curse. He’s prone to talking absolute shite at times but former Arsenal centre back Martin Keown has in fact predicted Liverpool to win the title this season.
In an interview with The Daily Mail Keown said:
“I feel Jurgen Klopp is on a journey. I played against the Liverpool sides of the late Eighties and they would steamroller their opponents, particularly at Anfield. That is what Klopp’s teams do.
“He has strengthened every compartment of his team. Andrew Robertson and Virgil van Dijk filled the gaps in defence. Now he has added quality in midfield with Naby Keita and Fabinho and spent a world-record fee for a goalkeeper.”
He then went to top it all off with the classic line; “There is not the same pressure at Anfield. Maybe, just maybe, this could be their year.”
To be fair, he does has a point. But I won’t hinge my hopes of Liverpool winning the title based on Keown’s thoughts.
9:33 – Unluckeeeeey!
Yep thats us! Unlucky! A new study shows that we were in fact the unluckiest team in the Premier League last season. The study is prodominatly based on poor refereeing decisions in which Liverpool were on the the arse end of. Can’t say I’m shocked.
On the flip side United were the luckiest team. Again hardly shocked. Check out the full report in the tweet below!
Morning all, the transfer window shuts in just two days for the first time ever! Whilst other clubs are still stressing about one or two more signings it’s fair to say that everyone at Liverpool is pretty laid back and we can only expect outgoings as opposed to any new signings.
