Liverpool are ready to sell Xherdan Shaqiri for the right price as interest in the Swiss star ramps up.
According to Goal’s Neil Jones, La Liga sides Sevilla and Villarreal, plus Serie A giants Lazio and Napoli are amongst the clubs who have declared an interest in the 29-year-old, who has never really been able to establish himself as a regular in Jurgen Klopp’s side, despite a few standout moments, such as his brace against Manchester United or his pin-point cross to Gini Wijnaldum in the famous 4-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final.

Shaqiri has had some excellent moments for Liverpool, but they’ve been few and far between.
A combination of injuries, poor form and the sensational performances of the players ahead of him in the pecking order have meant that the Swiss winger has been a bit-part player since his arrival on Merseyside and it looks to be in the best interests of all parties for a move to be completed.
In terms of a transfer fee, if Liverpool can get a fee close to, or above, the £13.5m they paid Stoke City back in July 2018, then they should be absolutely delighted.
