Mo Salah is Going Nowhere

Jurgen Klopp has reiterated Liverpool’s stance on Mohammed Salah. “The position remains the same. Absolutely no doubt about that. Nothing else to say. No offer as far as I know.” It would be suicide for The Reds to allow the star player to leave and be unable to replace him. If Liverpool are to have any success this season. Mo Salah will be involved.

Liverpool have rejected £150 million bid for Mo Salah per David Ornstein. The reliable Paul Joyce has added that the matter is now closed.

However, other sources have suggested Al-Ittihad will return with a second bid near £175 million.

The Dutchman is reported to be in Merseyside and currently undergoing a medical ahead of his £34.2 million deal. The 21-year-old has been on Klopp’s radar for a number of years and the German is set to get his man. He will join fellow additions Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szboboszlai and Endo Wataru.

Dan Neil to Liverpool? The next Jordan Henderson?

In what would be a shock move, Liverpool have been linked to 21-year-old Sunderland talent Dan Neil. The Wearside midfielder broke into the squad in last season’s campaign and has started the 2023/24 season in good form with a goal and an assist in the opening four matches.

With Ryan Gravenberch about to make the switch from the Allianz Arena to Anfield, another midfielder could be on the cards and possibly the next Jordan Henderson…?
