By Lewis Thompson Liverpool are looking to win their seventh consecutive premier league home game for the first time since January 2014, as they take on Crystal Palace at Anfield. Roy Hodgson will certainly be up for this game after the poor performance last week from Palace saw them lose 2-1 to Watford at Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace have only won one of their last five games against Liverpool in the Premier League with Liverpool winning all the other games. The Eagles will be looking for sweet revenge on Liverpool after a controversial red card and a penalty all in all led to Liverpool winning 2-0 earlier on this season. With Palace on a very mixed run of form recently, they will certainly be hungry for all three points. Although, Klopp’s men must be cautious as Roy Hodgson does know how to beat the big teams. The Eagles shockingly picked up all three points at the Etihad a few weeks ago. With Andros Townsend scoring one of the best goals of the season so far and overall a fantastic display from Crystal Palace the side managed to beat a very good Manchester City side 3-2. Julian Speroni is set to make a return in between the sticks for Crystal Palace for the first time in the Premier League since December 2017. This is all because Welsh man Wayne Hennessey suffered a muscle injury last weekend in their 2-1 defeat to Watford and Vincente Guaita is already out with a calf strain. There are no other major injuries or suspensions currently. Now onto my predicted line-up for the game. I feel Hodgson will start the game with his preferred 4-3-3. With Speroni making a return in nets, I feel the back four will consist of Wan-Bissaka at right back, Tomkins and Sakho as the two centre backs and Van Aanholt at left back. A strong three-man midfield will feature McArthur, Milivojevic ©, and summer signing Kouyate. Then I believe Hodgson will go with a rapid front three with Townsend out on the right, Zaha down the left and Ayew playing as the centre forward. I have my worries for this game. With Trent looking doubtful, I have my concerns about our defence. Although, if Fabinho starts at centre back again and replicates his performance against Brighton I think we will be fine. The danger men for Palace are clearly Zaha and Townsend, both players have the capability to pull of a moment of magic at any time during the game. This is another must win game which I feel I’m going to be saying a lot this season. We must keep that four-point lead on Manchester City for as long as we can. I’m going to go with a 2-0 win to Liverpool with Salah scoring both goals. Tell me what you think the score will be? Will injuries cause us problems at the back? COME ON YOU F*CKING REDS!!
