By Lewis Thompson – @LewisThomps0nLiverpool host Portuguese side FC Porto on Tuesday night, in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final. After gaining another massive three points on Friday night against Southampton, Klopp’s men will be hungry for another successful win on yet another European night at Anfield. With Andy Robertson missing the first leg of the tie due to a yellow card picked up against Bayern Munich, Klopp has a massive decision to make on who he starts at left back. Who do you think will start?Porto are yet to beat Liverpool in a competitive match after six attempts. The Reds have drawn three and won three against the Portuguese club. Both sides met in the round of 16 in last year’s Champions League, Liverpool won the first leg at Porto by five goals to nil, the second leg at Anfield ended as a 0-0 draw. Porto have never faced an opponent a greater number times than Liverpool without winning a single game.Porto boss Sergio Conceicao will be missing many of his key players come Tuesday night, due to injuries. Alex Telles, Francisco Soares, Danilo and Moussa Marega have all not travelled to Merseyside with the Porto squad. Conceicao expressed his thoughts on how his side might struggle without some of these players. “Moussa Marega offers an awful lot when he plays in a two-man attack. His replacement is likely to offer different qualities, so our playing style might change as a result.” Striker Vincent Aboubakar may be in contention to feature at Anfield, as he has recently returned to the side after suffering from a hamstring problem. Ex Real Madrid centre back Pepe is suspended for this fixture along with Mexican Playmaker Hector Herrera.

Now onto my predicted line-up for the game. I feel Conceicao will start the game with a 4-3-3. I feel Casillas will start in goal. Due to the absence of Pepe, I believe Maxi Pereira will be introduced into the starting eleven. This means Militao will be shifted into centre back alongside Felipe, then out at left back I think Manafa will replace the injured Alex Telles. I feel the three man midfield will consist of Otavio, Oliver and Pereira. This leaves the front three in my opinion to be Brahimi out on the left wing, Tiquinho Porto’s top goal scorer out on the right with Marega who I think will be fit for the game up front.I think far too many people are underestimating the quality that FC Porto can produce when it comes to scoring goals. Porto have a very good goalscoring record in the Liga Nos and they could cause us trouble, as Robertson is suspended and we may rest some of our key players. I’m going to go with a 4-1 win to Liverpool with Salah getting on the scoresheet along with Van Dijk, Henderson and Milner. Tell me what you think the score will be, COME ON YOU REDS!! By Lewis ThompsonTwitter @LewisThomps0n
