Title nerves?! Fuck off. That was quality start to finish. Questions were asked about the starting line up and they delivered. Mane in the 9 was a surprise, he smashed it. Origi with possibly his best game since Dortmund. Trent and Robbo suppling the goals. Midfield dominant, as were the centre backs. Just class. Let’s not get carried away Watford were fucking shite. Ah balls, lets just get carried away!! Alisson – 7.5 Beautiful pink bastard. Didn’t really have much to do did he really. Looked good though. Handsome fella. That’s a lie he made a crucial point blank save from Gray! Trent – 9 WOW. Just wow. Trent was bang up for this game. Three wonderful assists and arguably it could have been more if Ben Foster didn’t decide to do his job properly and piss on all our chips. One of many MOTM contenders. Great to see him back. First name on the team sheet for the derby! Matip – 8 Another solid one for Joel. Loving his recent run of form, his confidence and his ability to stop fucking about on the ball. A no nonsense approach. Deeney and Deulofeu hardly got a sniff. Virgil – 9 Had Deeney and Deulofeu in his fucking pockets. So much so they came off with 20 minutes left. Sound. Usual high standards from Virg. Sprayed passes for fun and controlled the back line. Solid. To top it off he scored TWO banging headers! Watch him defend and watch him score!! Robbo – 8 Just class isn’t he. Much better getting forward, pinning Watford back and supporting Divock. Beautiful cross for the 5th goal! Fabinho – 10 A possible MOTM shout for me. Broke everything down, threw himself about and made crucial tackles. Even decided to do some fucking breakdancing in the second half and still managed to tackle and pass the ball!!

Gini – 8 Honestly love him and Fabinho playing together, they compliment each other so well! The pair of them controlled the midfield start to finish. He’s just so calm and composed. Gutted he didn’t get a goal to be honest but a much better performance dropping deep when needed. Mane – 10 Shit the bloody bed. I thought Bobby had flair! Caused mayhem the whole game!   Divock – 8.5 You know what, credit where it is due. Divock worked tirelessly tonight. Out of the left wing he still caused problems and more impressively, he tracked back like a fucking trooper. Oh and the goal, what a finish.
