Dominic Solanke finally gets’ his goal
After making 27 appearances this season it took until the final day of the season for Dominic Solanke to open his goal scoring account at Liverpool. After going through some difficult periods this season and not being a regular member of the starting eleven or the squad, I think he put in a great performance today and topped it off with a well-deserved goal.
Andy Robertson’s’ first goal for the Reds
It was also a day to remember for Andy Robertson as he also opened his goal scoring account for the Reds. After an incredible season it is only fitting that he topped it off with a goal, hopefully he gets his second in Kiev in a few week’s time.
We always do it the hard way
We wouldn’t be Liverpool if we just strode into the top four like it was nothing. I would have liked Top four to have been confirmed a few weeks ago after the Stoke City game but the club obviously likes to make the fans nervous and after a draw with West Brom and a defeat to Chelsea, it was crucial we won today.
Sporting next season kit the Reds came out today and got the job done with a solid 4-0 win to secure a top four finish, pretty much the same as last year. We now look to the 26th of May and hopefully the players will be bringing the Champions League trophy back home with them.
