Three important points in the bag for the Reds after a 4-2 win over Burnley.

He’s Virgil Van Dijk

A standard day at the office for Van Dijk today, managed to keep the Burnley forward at bay for the majority of the game, there was nothing he could do about either of their goals.

Bossed the game today and gave a real captains performance, don’t think anyone will ever tire of watching him play and then hearing about it.

Adam Lallana

With the amount of stick I saw him getting on twitter when the team was announced before the game, I think he was one of our best players today, Klopp explained that the way he trained during the week is the reason that he got in the starting eleven today and I think he needs to be applauded for that. He has been on the fringes the entire season and for him to still be putting in a shift during training at this stage of the season is really good to see.

It’s all about Lallana for the second goal, without him closing down the defenders the goal would not have happened. Understandable that he got subbed in the second half because like I said he hasn’t played much so his match fitness isn’t going to be the best.

Oh Mane Mane

16 goals for the Premier League season. His best in a Liverpool shirt.

Mane deserves more credit then he gets, everyone focuses on Salah’s performance and why is he not scoring but everyone needs to start paying attention to Mane because after all, he is the best player in the world…

I always feel confident when Mane gets the ball because I feel like something is always going to happen, he loves to run with it, can pick out a pass and take a shot on and with the form he is in at the minute, he can be the best player on the pitch.

Eight Games To Go

It’s going to be a long couple of weeks as a Liverpool fan until that final fixture in May but I still have a lot of confidence in this team and if we just focus on ourselves and play our own football then the goals and result will come. up the Reds!
