Trent – 7 Took a battering from Napoli, particularly in the first half, thought he dealt with Insigne pretty well, although he got done a few times, who cares we are through!!!Matip – 7Mad how someone gets a run of games and turns out to be decent isn’t it. I’ve been critical of him before but his recent performances have shown he is a boss 4th choice centre half. Van Dijk – 8Don’t even know why he was booked tbh. The ref was a right melt. Probably thought he was being hard. Anyway despite being booked so early on it didn’t deter from another terrific performance from big Virg. Robertson – 8I could literally copy and paste the same thing for Robbo every week. Positionally spot on, again. Decision making, spot on, again. To add to all that he’s basically another winger, he allows Mane freedom to express himself and takes risks. Just bloody love him you know.Hendo – 7.5Twitter lost it’s shit when it was announced he was playing, a player who was part of getting us to the final last year. The intensity and determination to lead the press and breakdown Napoli attacks was impressive. If he played like that every week he might get less stick……maybe not.Gini – 8.5One of his best performances for me. Using his strength (arse) to shield the ball, to protect possession and to shove Napoli players out the game. And when we did lose the ball he was always on hand to win it back. Milner – 8Everything you expect from a Milner performance. He was everywhere, protecting the defence, helping the midfield, you name it Milly was there. Salah – 9Bloody one season wonder my arse. He just sent us through to last 16 with an audacious goal.Mane – 7.5Guy needs to chill out when he comes to shooting, a little composure and he’d have scored about 30 goals this season. However, he never gives up, he works hard to create the chances for himself and others.Firmino – 7Still my favourite player, he’s so much more than a 9. He’s another midfielder when we need help winning possession he’s a 10 linking up between Mane and Salah and he just works his bollocks off.
