By @Lauren_Black9This Sunday Liverpool FC Women face Manchester City Women in the Quarter-Final of the Women’s FA Cup away at the Academy Stadium.Manchester City currently sit top of the Women’s Super League with Arsenal and Chelsea on their tails and having recently won the Continetal Cup after beating Arsenal on penalties, their momentum will be high.Liverpool currently sit 8th in the league and have had a good run of form as of late, they suffered a 4-0 defeat on Wednesday night at home to Chelsea and although they where disappointed by that result, they are fully focused on the task at hand on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester City are the top dogs of Women’s football in England at the minute and with their team being full of International players, any team would fear them. With stars like Nikita Parris , who has 18 goals so far this season, Steph Houghton, Captain of England, and a handful of other stars including Georgia Stanway, Keira Walsh and Jill Scott, all the girls can do tomorrow is give it their best shot.I’m expecting both managers to go all out with their team selection as both sides will want to progress into the semi-finals, especially Liverpool with this being the only silverware they can win this season.I’m hoping to see Niamh Charles back in action too, the young midfielder signed a new contract a fortnight ago and with her not being in the squad since just before Christmas due to injury problems, this would be the perfect game for her to come back in to and cause that Man City defence some problems.Former Liverpool stars Gemma Bonner and Caroline Weir will be relishing the opportunity to meet their former side again having already got one over on them this season after Man City beat Liverpool at home in the WSL.Courtney Sweetman-Kirk will be looking to add to her goalscoring tally for the Reds having scored 10 goals in 17 games this season, hopefully she can grab a few tomorrow. There are still a few tickets available for this match so if you fancy going down to the Academy Stadium to support the girls then head over to our Twitter (@RMTVWomensPod) and use the link!Let me know what your score prediction is in the comments below!
