A winter’s cruise through Goodison Park continued Liverpool’s run of form and sets us up for Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

While the last few games have shown that we’re the best team in the league, there’s a slight feeling of a need to ‘touch wood’ before every game, because as long as we can avoid injuries, it’s going to be tough to stop Klopp doubling down on his Premier League medal tally.

The Reds have to learn from West Ham for this one. The pace of the Wolves attack with the likes of Adama and Hwang will be utilised as they look to break quickly from mistakes; so we have to sustain our attacks by not giving the ball away cheaply.

Any talk that Andy Robertson is out of form can now be put to the side as the Scotsman puts in back-to-back impressive games. I think he should start again on Saturday, with one change seeing Konate in for Matip; Joel is class, but the concern here is dealing with the pace of Wolves on the break.

AC Milan are up next after this one which means we can field a strong team before making changes at the San Siro. And after the midfield’s performance against Everton, there should be no alternation from the Fabinho – Thiago – Henderson setup.

The same goes for the front three. If everyone’s fit, it’s a matter of “we go again” before we take all of them out for the midweek game.

It’s difficult to see past a Liverpool win with our current scoring form. We’re creating chances and bossing games from the midfield, and that should be too much for Wolves to deal with as Salah continues his rise from 7th in the Ballon d’Or list.

Score prediction: Wolves 0 – 3 Liverpool
