The footy is back and the reds are back with another three points. Not the best game to watch if we are all being honest but who cares. Just grateful to see those beautiful bastards back on the tele.Norwich put up a good fight but it’s pick your poison with us. You can’t sick back for the full game and not expect to concede. Chances were few and far between and Naby should have scored into the second half. Equally Alisson kept it level with the best reach around I’ve seen in a long time.Remember, these ratings are just opinion. They in no way have any affect on your life. Don’t get angry. Just let me know yours in the comments below. Alisson – 9Why do people bother? What is the fucking point, honestly? He can read your mind, he knows what you are going to do before you do. Give up.Trent – 8A busy lad today with Cantwell keeping him occupied defensively, when he wasn’t on the floor of course. Going forward a threat as usual and could have had an assist after he fizzed it in for Bobby.Gomez – 7.5Norwich didn’t really threaten us there but that was a combination of not going for it and our centre halves dealing with everything. Even when Alisson didn’t come out and there was a bit of miscommunication, it was sorted.van Dijk – 7.5Copy and paste from above. Despite tough conditions they both kept themselves composed and just dealt with things at ease.Robbo – 7Boss to see Robbo back after a well deserved and much needed rest. Whipped in a few nice balls but it was tough as Norwich had six at the back for most of the time. Almost forced an own goal though, almost.Hendo – 8Carried on his form from before the winter break there for me. Quality in the press as per, bossed the lads around to make sure they stuck to their duties, told the linesman and the ref to fuck off repeatedly and got an assist. Great day in the office.Anyone who says Alisson isn’t the best keeper in the world needs their head testing…

Gini – 7Played an hour of the game and he was sound. Just sound. Didn’t do much wrong and didn’t do anything to light the game up. First half was a bit dull like. Had 96% passing accuracy to be fair!Naby – 8Enjoyed watching Naby today. Would have enjoyed it a lot more if he had just chipped Krul though. So many of his elements shone for me today. He is tenacious in the press, determined to win the ball back and set his mates off and also carries the confidence to skip past a few when required.Salah – 7.5His hold up play and upper body strength was a highlight of his game today, again. We always say he has two or three players around him and he’s adapted his game. Impressive close ball control in tight spaces and arguably should have taken a few shots instead of passing! He can’t win!Bobby – 8Probably wasn’t an 8 but you know, Bobby bias. Some magnificent touches and bit of play, particularly in the first half. Positionally he was everywhere, dropping deep to pick up the ball so he could bring others into play.Ox – 7Out left isn’t his favoured his position but he’s definitely getting better. Like Gini he only played an hour but still managed to impress in the time he had. Cannot fault his fight for the cause!
SubsFabinho – 7Played half an hour but much needed game time for him as he looks to gather his rhythm.Mane – 9Belter of a goal that. Great touch, even better finish. How good it is that we can bring these lads on and they can produce a bit of magic like that. Copied what Bobby did in the first half, he went one better and scored.Milner – N/AWasn’t on long enough to rate.Let me know your thoughts on the game below!Ross – @rossic89
