Article by Lauren Black -@Lauren_Black9Tomorrow night we face Chelsea in the third round of the Caraboa Cup and I’ve taken a look at our previous results against them in this competition, who I think their star player is.So looking at their previous results against us in this competition, this is the eight league cup match between Chelsea and Liverpool and the first to be played at the third round stage since November 2000 when Liverpool beat the Blue 2-1 at Anfield thanks to goals from Robbie Fowler and Danny Murphy.The last time we faced Chelsea in this competition was January 2015, the first game being at Anfield when the game finished 1-1, the following week the Reds played them at Stamford Bridge but ended up losing 1-0.Chelsea have progressed from each of the their last seven league cup third round fixtures with the last time they lost being back in 2010/11 when they faced Newcastle United. This will also be the 57^th meeting between Liverpool and Chelsea since the turn of the millennium making it the most played fixture in English football.Sarri side head into tomorrow’s game on a bit of a downer having dropped points at West Ham at the weekend. The biggest question for both manager is whether or not they will rotate their squad for the cup tie.I expect Sarri to name a pretty strong starting XI as he will be looking for the win tomorrow. Pedro, Loftus-Cheek and Rudiger are all ruled out for the game due to injury but Eden Hazard will be a part of the squad so I think he will feature. My full starting eleven is belowStar PlayerI went for the obvious player which is Eden Hazard who is their star man.As you can see from the image above, last season he had the most successful dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League averaging 6.1 dribbles per 90 minutes. He is Chelsea current top goalscorer this season with 5 (all comps) and has been in the news recently with a lot of people wondering why he doesn’t get more recognition.He has played a total of 14 games against Liverpool, winning four, drawing seven and losing three and scoring a total of five goals and getting two assists.
