Article by Lauren Black -@Lauren_Black9I think Napoli will play with a little bit of fear or caution as most Italian sides, if not all, like to have a lot of the ball were as in the Premier League you are not given the time and space to create and keep hold of the ball so that is a bit of an advantage for Liverpool as it will be important for us to go there and put pressure on them. They will also be aware of how lethal we are on the counter attack so they will be preparing for that and would have seen that during the pre-season game in August when they were defeated 5-0.In terms of how Napoli have done so far this season, they’re currently second in Serie A with 15 points, 6 points off Juventus in first. They only have two point gap between them and third place Fiorentina, fourth place Inter Milan and fifth place Sassuolo.Their previous game was a defeat to Juventus with Mario Mandzukic and Cristiano Ronaldo claiming the goals in that game. Napoli also had Rui sent off and claimed a goal back through Mertens.Looking at the stats from that game you can see that the teams where evenly matches for majority of it, Juventus came out on top for the number of shots on target but in terms of possession and number of passes there isn’t too much difference. That will be the big thing for Napoli, wanting to retain possession and try and play us off the park rather than look to grab 3/4 goals, they would be happy to get one goal and keep possession and control of the game where as I think Liverpool will look to get a few goals early to get the game over with.Carlo Ancelotti – Now this man has faced Liverpool numerous times in his managerial career and his most notable match would be the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul after we came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 and then beat his AC Milan side on penalties. We then faced him two years later in the 2007 Champions league final but that time he was victorious with his AC Milan team. His overall record against Liverpool is in a total of eight matches he has five wins, zero draws and three losses. Not a bad record. He joined Napoli in the summer after having managed Reggiana, Parma, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich so he is a very experienced manager especially in Italy having spent most of his playing career and managerial career there. He is a brilliant manager and has won numerous trophies at all levels including three Champions Leagues and one Premier League title.Having faced us so many times he might be thinking that he has a good idea of how we are going to play, but after the pre-season game in August and seeing how we have performed this season he may be thinking differently now. Being the man he is and having been so successful at the clubs he has managed their is high expectation at Napoli but so far they haven’t shown to everyone what they are capable of.Star Player – I chose Insigne for my Napoli star player and that’s simply because he has performed the best this season. A total of five goals and one assist so far in all competitions for the 2018/19 campaign and his most notable attributes will be his pace and skills. He obtains that role behind the striker which allows him to get into pockets of space and be able to create chances and take on players which is where he is most dangerous. Liverpool need to contain him more than anyone tomorrow night and that will be a difficult job for whoever marks him.My predicted starting XI – I chose this starting XI for the game tomorrow night because I think Napoli will play a strong side. Having drawn against Red Star in the opening game, they need to go for the win tonight to be able to get some points on the board and with PSG facing Red Star, they may end up at the bottom of the table which is not where they want to be. The two forwards will be the ones to watch in the game just because of how well they link up and with Insinge on five goals and Mertens on two goals so far this season, it seems to be working out for them.Let me know if you would have changed anything about the starting eleven and if you agree that Insigne will be the man to watch for Napoli tomorrow night.Article By Lauren Black -@Lauren_Black9???? 16+ PODCASTS P/MONTH ???? 12+ SHOWS P/MONTH ✍ DAILY ARTICLES INC ‘SPECIAL GUEST WRITERS’ ⭐ EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS – INC JURGEN KLOPP! ???? Pre and Post Match Shows
