Liverpool travel to the San Siro this evening to take on AC Milan. With Liverpool safely through as group winners, Jurgen Klopp may be able to rest some key names in what was originally billed as a crucial Champions League tie.
Despite both teams’ status as European royalty, tonight’s match will only be the fourth time the sides have met in a competitive fixture. The other three games have been the finals in 2005 and 2007, as well as the classic group stage opener earlier this year.
