It is December 28th, and Liverpool travel to the King Power this evening to take on Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City. With crucial league points at stake, the Reds will be fielding a much-changed side from the one that started the brilliant penalty shoot-out victory over the Foxes in the EFL Cup last week.
The two sides have been involved in some dramatic tussles since Leicester were promoted to the Premier League, with Jurgen’s men not always having their own way. The boss will be hoping for some good contributions from Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, who are set to depart for the AFCON in the new year.
