On November 1st 2005, Luis Garcia became Liverpool’s all-time top scorer in the Champions League era, scoring his seventh goal in the competition against Anderlecht. The sangria enthusiast now sits 7th on the list, with Mo Salah taking top spot with his goal against Atletico last month.
The Catalonian arrived from Barcelona in 2004 and was an important member of Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League winning campaign.
