October 27th last year saw Diogo Jota score Liverpool’s 10,000th goal against Midtjylland. The Porto-born attacker is the latest in a long line of great players to score a landmark goal for the Reds.
Many fans were disappointed that long term target Timo Werner signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2020. That disappointment was short-lived as Jota made an instant impact, scoring nine goals before Christmas.
