It is the 4th of May, and Liverpool are celebrating reaching their third Champions League Final under Jurgen Klopp following a 5-2 aggregate victory over Villarreal. The Reds made heavy weather of the first half in Spain, but rallied in the second half, with goals from Fabinho, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane sealing the win.
Mane has been in top form since the arrival of Luis Diaz, and has reached 20 goals for the season in all competitions. LFC’s Senegalese superstar has flourished in a more central role, proving he is still a key figure in the Reds’ attempt to win an unprecedented quadruple.
