A common quip comes to mind that many of the big clubs in the Premier League (especially Liverpool) always seem go fishing in Southampton’s pond and take all their best players.
Sadio Mane, Virgil Van Dijk and Adam Lallana to name a few bargains over the years, we have certainly made some great transfers of players that proved their worths at St Mary’s before making a move up north to Anfield.
