Well that was a little bit of squeaky bum time wasn’t it? Spurs only turned up when we were a bit sloppy and when the clock was running out. I love how patient we are, how composed we are and now we are consistently showing signs of being resilient.Another three points, more records broken and the gap at the top of the Premier League extended.Alisson – 9Played at centre half for most of that game. His ability to read the play, have the confidence to come away from his line, nay, his box, and clear the ball with comfort or a no-nonsense hoof is outstanding. Distribution bob on as per.Trent – 8Clearly targeted by Jose and the Spurs team which did cause the odd moment of arse clenching but it is an area which Trent continues to improve upon. Son frightens the life out of me and he is so good, he’s bound to get in a few times.Gomez – 7.5Clumsy for the booking in my opinion, which might be a little harsh. Feel as though it was early in the game too which may have had a role in later decisions for him. Other than that, he was sound.van Dijk – 8Did another slidey didn’t he? Inconvenienced this week by Dele Ali. You don’t make Virg go to ground. Like the rest of the back four his work was cut out today, particularly in the second half. Calm as you like throughout.Robbo – 7Guilty of being sloppy at times today Robbo, which is very unlike him. To be fair to him, it did get very stretched and end to end in the second half which created loads of gaps in play. Also so happy he’s isn’t injured, that was a stressful moment.Hendo – 7Quieter then usual today. Besides the mistake which let Son in. Hard to influence the game sometimes when the opposition, *cough* Jose *cough* parks the bus. Tireless in the press as usual.

Gini – 9Possible man of the match shout for me. Gini was everywhere, battling for absolutely everything. Says a lot when I nearly spat my brew out when he was knocked off the ball onto the floor. He’s imperious and has been for sometime.Ox – 7Found pockets of space time and time again in the first half. Large pockets to be honest. Gave him the ability to run and drive at the Spurs back line. Somehow hit the post early doors too. Just saving it for next week aren’t you Alex? Mane – 8‘The Lion’ AKA Africa’s Player of the Year caused Spurs problems throughout. More importantly, he was an extra body in the defence providing support when Spurs went on the counter.Bobby – 9Well lets start with the goal shall we? Perfect first touch and then he doesn’t even look up at the goal, just rifles it into the inside netting. The lad needed a rest and he was so much better for it today; link up play, dropping deep, neat touches and of course, the goal.Salah – 8I’ve been slightly critical of him lately but he’s played an awful lot of football. Fantasy players will be thrilled with his assist and Klopp will be pleased with his constant runs off the ball. It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t get involved in the play at times when he created so much space.
SubsLallana – 7.5Sound. AGAIN. A change was needed in the middle and Adam arrived with bags of energy to assist in stretching the Spurs midfield as well as getting back to help the back line.Origi – N/AWasn’t on long really.Shaqiri – N/AWas on for like one minute.Let me know your thoughts on the game below!Ross – @rossic89
