Here are the player ratings as Liverpool beat Spurs 2-1 at Anfield South.Alisson – 7Never once made me shit myself. A clean pair of underpants for a Saturday night a huge plus for me. Sort of wanted him to Rainbow flick Harry Kane in the last minute but it just wasn’t to be. Save it for Neymar lad. Trent Alexander-Arnold – 750 appearances for this lad and he looks like he’s played about 500. Pretty much had that right flank all to himself at times, a few defensive mix ups with Gomez at times but always recovered well.Joe Gomez – 7I mean, did you see him clean out Lucas Moura? What a fucking unit. Kept ‘Arry Kane quiet too. Another challenge passed with flying colours. Got bored of that and played right back for the last few minutes, you know just for a laugh.Virgil Van Dijk – 8Tom & Jerry, Batman & Robin, Bert & Ernie, van Dijk & Gomez. Yep, they are up there. Formidable partnership. Reduced Spurs to half chances. van Dijk spraying headers left, right and centre, taking elbows in the face and not giving two shits. MY CENTRE BACK.Andy Robertson – 7.5Superb defensively yet again. Quality in the build up for the the Bobby goal, consistently linking up with Sadio Mane. Nothing phases this lad. He was everywhere. Gini Wijnaldum – 8Shit the bed!! An away goal! Another solid performance, had Dembele on toast on several occasions. Using his strength, cleverness and arse to protect the ball at all times!Baby Keith – 6.5Not his best performance for me but still integral in that midfield pestering the opposition. Should have got himself a goal. He’s only going to get better. Wouldn’t worry about it.James Milner – 7Bejamin Button this lad. How old is he? Does it matter? Does it shite. A true leader in this Liverpool side. Consistent, hard working and not afraid of a challenge! Give him all the Ribena tonight.Mohamed Salah – 6.5Wasn’t shite by any stretch of the mark, the lad was desperate to score. Could have and should have to be honest. He also could have squared it a few times too. I quite like the selfishness and luckily it didn’t come back to bite us on the arse. Roberto Firmino – 8Couldn’t have really missed his goal like, bit gutted he didn’t go for a no look finish. I’ll get over it. Worked his balls off offensively and defensively. He creates so much off the ball its unreal. Subbed off on 74 mins otherwise he’d still be running round now.Sadio Mane – 8Electric yet again. Pouncing on any Spurs mistakes, driving at the defence and creating chances for his team mates. Probably not even at his best either. He’ll be doing bits on Tuesday.Substitutes:Jordan Henderson – 6Fresh legs needed to defend the result, got some minutes under his belt. Will he start on Tuesday? I haven’t a clue.Daniel Sturridge – 5Only got 7 minutes but kept himself busy. Created a half chance but wasn’t in the game long enough to do much else.Joel Matip – 5Just wanted to revisit the scene of the crime for a few moments.
