Article by Adam Brown @AdamMNVi A trip to the Emirates may have been more daunting a fortnight ago, but with Liverpool finding their next gear, scoring eight goals in the last two games, the Reds will certainly be confident of scoring against a depleted Arsenal defence. While Shaqiri’s potential was clear, not many could have predicted his instant impact. The Swiss attacker has produced a goal and three assists in his last 211 minutes of football for the Reds – a contribution every 52 minutes. With such impressive form, in a game which has a tendency to be open, it’s difficult to leave Shaq out of the side for this one.Formation : 4-3-3 There is, of course, an argument to employ a more pragmatic approach against Arsenal, but with Arsenal’s injury problems, and our attacking form, it may be best to attack early before playing more tactically.Fabinho has been excellent in the last two games, and while it wouldn’t be a bad idea to start the Brazilian in the six, Wijnaldum’s previous experience in big games make him a safer option to start.Ideally, Jurgen Klopp can introduce Fabinho in the second half when looking to see the game out. While Arsenal do have some injuries, it’s important not to be complacent in this one. As Chris mentions in the Starting XI show, Aubameyang and Lacazette are top-calibre players who can turn the game around at any time. The defensive performance against PSG is a key factor in the back four this week. Gomez pace will be important against the quick movement of Arsenal’s attackers, and the attacking nature of the game will allow plenty of space for Robertson and TAA to exploit. The front three remains unchanged – especially after Mohamed Salah ended his ten-minute goal drought against Cardiff. On the opposite flank, Sadio Mane is ready to haunt Arsenal (again).Prediction: Arsenal 1 – 3 LiverpoolHow does Chris think Jurgen Klopp will select the side?
