Article by Adam Brown AdamMNVi Liverpool fans are just about ready for Burnley to be relegated this season after their ridiculous “ya da” tackling methods on Wednesday. Fortunately, the injury to Gomez is not as serious as it could have been. It’s a quick turnaround for the Reds this week, as we take on Bournemouth in the 12.30pm kick-off. As confirmed yesterday, Joe Gomez will be out for around six weeks. Klopp also confirmed in his press conference today that the squad will also be without Sadio Mane, Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne. Fortunately, we have enough squad depth to field a team more than capable of getting the job done. After a midweek rest, Robertson will be ready for this one. Matip will retain his place in the side next to Virgil van Dijk, where hopefully we can see a strong partnership develop for next week’s crucial tie against Napoli. Jurgen Klopp has a decision to make at right-back. While it’s never encouraged to look past the game in hand, Tuesday’s game is the most important game of the season – and Alexander-Arnold would effectively playing his third game in a week. For his set-piece delivery alone, Trent is vital for that game. Camacho should come in for this one after his performances in the pre-season. Fabinho and Milner can offer good protection when our fullbacks are getting forward, while Keita and Shaqiri can be allowed to be a bit more expressive in their play. Against an attacking Bournemouth side, there should be plenty of space going forward. Upfront, it’s Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino. A goal for Bobby in midweek can hopefully summon a run of form for the Brazilian. Salah and Origi are solid options coming on from the bench later on in the game.
