Three points to start the season and a strong performance places Liverpool in a prime position to get off to a good start in the title race, but Sean Dyche’s Burnley will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins at Anfield.
The display at Carrow Road was positive all-around. Klopp’s selection headache has come on after one game with reinforcements constantly returning back to fitness. It’s a good problem to have as we gear up for what could be a four-way title race this season.

Here’s how we should line up:
Here’s how we should line up:
With Burnley’s constant barrage of balls in towards Chris Wood and their squadron of target men, Virgil and Matip stay in for this one. Andy Robertson has trained this week but there’s less pressure now Kostas Tsimikas is adapting better to the Premier League. That sees Trent complete the back four.
One change to the midfield sees Curtis Jones come in for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Harvey Elliott could also feature with Sean Dyche likely to put out his best bus before pushing up for the last ten minutes. Milner remains in the six.
The front three will be required a lot this season and if Klopp can keep all four of Liverpool’s danger-men fit, the Reds’ chances of reclaiming the title will multiply. I’ve gone with Jota for this one after a solid opening display against Norwich.
While Burnley managed to beat us at Anfield last season, they will face a different animal this time around. Three points is vital here with a game against Chelsea on the horizon, and if Salah’s form in the opening game is anything to go by, Klopp’s side will get the job done on Saturday afternoon.
Score prediction: Liverpool 3 – 0 Burnley
