By Adam Brown – @AdamMNViThe Reds return to Anfield in a game against Crystal Palace which could seal the Premier League title should Burnley avoid defeat at the Etihad. An all square Merseyside Derby saw chances for both teams squandered in a match which failed to reach any notable level of intensity throughout the 90 minutes. The main positive of the game came as an insight to the levels of sharpness throughout the squad which should make the team selections easier for the next run of games.Injuries to both James Milner and Joel Matip mean it’s unlikely either will feature on Wednesday night. Andy Robertson should be ready to return to the left flank – the Scotsman’s ability to stretch the game was missed on Sunday. One week of recovery stands between games against Crystal Palace and Manchester City which indicates that Sadio Mane could maintain his place in the side, but given the Reds strong position, Klopp may opt to rest the Senegalese star with Mo Salah available.

Here’s how we should line up:Alisson remains in goal. The Brazilian was sharp and looked comfortable in moments late on in the game where Everton threatened.Lovren left Jamie Carragher fuming on air after being beaten too easily. The Croatian’s performance will likely mean he will be on the bench on Wednesday with Joe Gomez slotting in alongside Virgil van Dijk.Andy Robertson will be vital against Palace. Roy Hodgson’s side looked well-drilled against Bournemouth and will likely set up more defensively to frustrate Liverpool. The Reds struggled for victory at Selhurst Park which could suggest another close game without the home crowd at Anfield awaits. One of Palace’s greatest strengths is their aerial presence and ability to create goals from winning second balls and breaking quickly. Fabinho should start in the six to add more height to Liverpool’s side to help against the likes of Christian Benteke who will be keen to score again against his former club.Wijnaldum and Keita start in midfield to help control the game and set the tempo in the first half. Patience will be required as we work our way through the Eagles’ defence. The Egyptian King returns alongside Roberto Firmino who was substituted in the second half against Everton. The question is whether Sadio Mane starts – there’s an argument to suggest that he is the ideal fit against Palace who lack pace in areas, but on the other hand, the Reds are in a strong position to win the league and can afford to give games to players on the fringes.I’m not going to sit on the fence. While Sadio is undoubtedly fit enough to play two 90-minute games in three days, he hasn’t done this in a couple of months. Oxlade-Chamberlain comes in for this one.A pragmatic Palace will make things difficult for the Reds but Klopp’s side should have enough to win the game.Score prediction: Liverpool 2 – 0 Crystal Palace  By Adam Brown (@AdamMNVi)
