By Adam Brown – @AdamMNViLiverpool are beginning to find rhythm after Klopp’s men were on-song against Sheffield United on Saturday. The Reds now host FC Midtjylland in the Champions League after goals from Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota completed a comeback and two straight wins for the Premier League champions.Tuesday night’s game against the Danish side will be a chance for players on the fringes to get minutes as Klopp cautiously uses the squad amidst a congested fixture period. The Reds can’t risk more injuries and can afford to rest key players after beginning the group with a win against Ajax. While arguably the weakest side in the group, the Danes have some threatening players at their disposal in Pione Sisto and pacey Australian, Awer Mabil. I’ve picked those two out as ones to watch, but Midtjylland as a whole have nothing to lose – Liverpool can’t be complacent.Klopp doesn’t expect Thiago, Joel Matip or Naby Keita to be available.
Here’s how we should line up:I’d go for Alisson here for increasing match-sharpness, but Klopp could easily opt for Adrian after a good display in Amsterdam. Two changes to the back four see Neco Williams and James Milner come in. This would have been an ideal game for Kostas Tsimikas but the Greek has only recently returned to training after a thigh injury.Jordan Henderson and Diogo Jota keep their places as the Liverpool midfield is shuffled. Curtis Jones was unfortunate to be withdrawn against Ajax and should fare better in more familiar surroundings at Anfield. Takumi Minamino and Xherdan Shaqiri also return. The emphasis must be on fitness with Liverpool playing a third game in the space of a week. Divock Origi is a good option to lead the line against opposition who will struggle with the Belgian striker’s presence. I’d like to see the Origi feature more often, and with the use of the 4-2-3-1 formation, his natural ability as a number nine could be useful for Klopp in Europe.Score prediction: Liverpool 3 – 0 FC MidtjyllandHow does Chris think Liverpool will line up?
