The Reds begin a significant run in the Premier League campaign as Brendan Rodgers returns to Anfield with Leicester. Liverpool’s next five games are instrumental; but we have to focus on one game at a time.
The Foxes have proven themselves as one of the more difficult outfits in the league this season, taking points from both Chelsea and Spurs. But if Liverpool are to win the league title, it’s another obstacle which Klopp’s side must bypass.

Here’s how we should line up:
The back four remains the same with Joel Matip unavailable.
Joe Gomez’s performance was harshly criticised this week in a game where Virgil could have done better on two of the goals; some were quick to forget the key interceptions which Gomez made when the defence were under pressure. The 22-year-old will be important against Vardy’s threat in behind.
Fabinho’s presence in the six will be vital in nullifying Maddison. Milner comes in where experience will be crucial in a game which affected the title race last season.
The front three remains the same after one of the best attacking performances of the season against Salzburg.
Some may be worried about conceding goals after Wednesday, but Leicester won’t be fielding Hwang and Minamino who looked like 2002 versions of Rivaldo and Ronaldinho.
It’s hard to see how Leicester will keep the front three out for 90 minutes when considering current form. Chances missed against Sheffield United were an anomaly in a season where Liverpool have been unstoppable.
Score prediction: Liverpool 3 – 0 Leicester City
