Jurgen Klopp’s options have been boosted this week. Alisson got his mistake out of the way after his foul in Geneva. The Brazilian starts behind our Champions League final back four.
The closest player to a new signing this season is the return of Ox. The midfielder could be a key player for the Reds this season after returning from injury. Fabinho maintains his place in the six behind the captain.
Competition for places will be rife in the more advanced midfield positions with options such as Henderson, Milner, Ox, Lallana, Keita and Wijnaldum all possible options. A selection headache for Klopp – but this indicates why we are yet to see the Reds spend big in the transfer market.
